5 Mantras to Recite When You are Stressed

Deep breaths and powerful words to bring you back into your power

We all have those days. Overwhelm, being pulled in every direction, phone chirping, boss calling, kids crying..... STOP. Take a deep breath with every line you speak and repeat after me.

I am enough.
I have everything I need.
I am grateful for (name something).
I have enough time to do the things that matter.
I will get through this.

Close your eyes (unless you're driving) picture your happy, calm place and take 5 more deep breaths.

After you feel centered again keep breathing and answer the next 5 questions:

  • What do I need to do right now?

  • What resources do I have to help me?

  • What can I delegate?

  • What can wait until tomorrow?

  • What can I do for myself today to release the stress?

Creating time for yourself.

You give in so many ways, don't forget to give some to yourself.

Take a bath. Go for a run. Take that yoga class. Dance in the kitchen for 10 minutes. Reach out to your life coach and share a gratitude or breakthrough. Celebrate a win (big or small)! Read a silly story using silly voices with your kids. Take 5 minutes to breath and ground yourself with positive words of love and encouragement (mantras!) especially in the morning. You deserve it! You have earned it! You are worth it!
